Shivamogga: Praying that Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar rises to a high position as Chief Minister, All Karnataka D.K. Shivakumar Fans Association District President, KPCC Coordinator R. Mohan went to Tirupati yesterday, Tuesday, and shaved his head and offered prayers.

Shivakumar’s role is important for Congress to come to power in the state. D.K. Shivshi has the power to unite people of all castes, religions, creeds and sects and lead them in an organizational manner. If he becomes Chief Minister, the state will definitely achieve further development.

D.K. Shivakumar has not only been recognized as a leader of the single community. He has brought ordinary workers of all classes, including backward classes, minorities, and exploited communities, into the mainstream of the party and raised them as leaders. He has been responsible for them getting a suitable status. In the light of all these factors, Mohan expressed his hope that he will get the post of Chief Minister.

Mohan, a staunch supporter of D.K.Shivakumar, established the All Karnataka D.K. Shivakumar Fans Association in 2001 and is actively involved in political and social activities.

On May 15, as part of D.K.Shivakumar’s 65th birthday celebrations, he drew attention by paying tribute to the proud soldiers who served India and presenting them with the Pratibha Puraskar.

In 2019, when D.K.Shivakumar was remanded in judicial custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Mohan had gone to Tirupati and prayed for his release.
