Health check-up for journalists from Shivamogga Press Trust

Shivamogga, Nov. 27:

Journalists who work under constant pressure should take care of their health and get regular health check-ups, said Dr. S. Chandrashekar, a surgeon specializing in kidney and bladder diseases.
He was speaking after inaugurating a free health check-up camp organized at Durgigudi Trupti Health Care in Shivamogga today.

Many people have little awareness about kidneys and bladder. Kidneys are also a very important organ for our good health, he said, and to maintain the health of the whole body, we should take good care of our kidneys and bladder. He advised that instead of rushing to hospitals after many people get sick, they should get regular health check-ups.

He said that regular health check-ups and seeking medical advice are helpful for good health, especially after the age of 45.

Speaking, Shivamogga Press Trust President N. Manjunath said that Dr. S., a doctor who has to earn money as a doctor abroad, Chandrashekhar said that the service provided by organizing free camps without any desire to earn money is meaningful to the society.

The Journalists Trust has been continuously helping journalists since its inception. He said that attention is also being paid to the health of journalists through health camps.
He said that many projects are being formulated for journalists in the coming days.

On this occasion, Trust Secretary Nagaraj Neri, Treasurer P. Jesudas, Trustees Hulimane Thimmappa, Gajendraswamy, Rakesh D’Souza, Shi Ju Pasha, Araga Ravi, Mohan, Spandana Chandru and many others were present.
